As is hopefully obvious, The Dreaded Press is a music reviews site, first and foremost.
Of course, that means different things to different people. The pages listed here should go some way to explaining:
what we review, and what we mean by ‘rock and metal’;
why we review, and why we believe it’s not just a form of intellectual masturbation by failed musicians and wanna-bes (really); and
how we review, why we don’t believe in telling you what to think, and why we believe quality descriptive writing is a good thing not just for the listener but for the music industry itself.
You’re free to disagree with any of these statements, naturally, and we don’t mind you saying so – in fact we encourage it. But please make a point of reading the comments policy before you do so, because we’d hate for you to be offended if we have to treat you like a fool without you knowing why we’ve done it.
If you’d like to tell us how utterly wrong we are without going public with your opinion, there’s always the contact form.
