Black Lungs are arguably an Alexisonfire side project, though over the years they’ve acquired a life of their own - to the extent of actually, y’know, releasing albums and stuff (Send Flowers will be reviewed here at The Dreaded Press pretty soon).
Not to mention touring - Black Lungs have equipped themselves with Liam the sticks-man from Cancer Bats, and roped in Alexisonfire bassist George Pettit, and are set to play a handful of UK dates later this month. You too can expectorate loudly in a furious punk rock fashion at the following venues:
- 26th August - Glasgow, King Tuts
- 27th August - Manchester, Roadhouse
- 28th August - London, Water Rats
- 29th August - Cardiff, Ifor Bach
- 30th August - Brighton, Audio
For musical tasters in free-to-eat snack-size portions, MySpace is your best bet - but there’s a nice grown-up Black Lungs website too*.
