Black Lungs cough up some UK dates for August

August 1st, 2008 by The Editor

Black Lungs liveBlack Lungs are arguably an Alexisonfire side project, though over the years they’ve acquired a life of their own - to the extent of actually, y’know, releasing albums and stuff (Send Flowers will be reviewed here at The Dreaded Press pretty soon).

Not to mention touring - Black Lungs have equipped themselves with Liam the sticks-man from Cancer Bats, and roped in Alexisonfire bassist George Pettit, and are set to play a handful of UK dates later this month. You too can expectorate loudly in a furious punk rock fashion at the following venues:

  • 26th August - Glasgow, King Tuts
  • 27th August - Manchester, Roadhouse
  • 28th August - London, Water Rats
  • 29th August - Cardiff, Ifor Bach
  • 30th August - Brighton, Audio

For musical tasters in free-to-eat snack-size portions, MySpace is your best bet - but there’s a nice grown-up Black Lungs website too*.

[ * - which only loses points for having an autostart media player on it - I mean, some of us may be browsing at our day-jobs, guys, c'mon. ]
