Australia’s export-grade hardcore outfit Parkway Drive have added an extra London date to their forthcoming (and fast-selling) UK tour in May 2008.
Parkway Drive released their second album Horizons in October of 2007, and this will be the first chance they have to play the material to British audiences.
Horizons, produced by Adam “Killswitch Engage” Dutkiewicz, is described as “a bone-crunching avalanche of classic hardcore, Swedish death and math-metal” … so the gigs should be quite an experience.
You can catch Parkway Drive playing live at the following venues:
1st May - Newport, TJ’s
2nd May - Nottingham, Rock City
3rd May - Manchester, Academy 3
4th May - Glasgow, Barfly
5th May - Yeovil, The Orange Box
6th May - Sheffield, Corporation
7th May - London, Underworld
8th May - London, Underworld (extra date added)
In the meantime, you can find out more about the band at the official Parkway Drive website, and check out some of the tunes from Horizons on the band’s MySpace page.
