Hot on the heels of two nominations for Classic Rock Awards, Stone Gods - the ex-Darkness boys without the ego problems - have announced a month-long UK tour to come in November, in the company of Antipodean rockers Airborne.
Sacrificing the high-camp braggadocio of their former incarnation for broad-base classic rock appeal, Stone Gods celebrate the old-school rock and roll aesthetic with a focus on fun and good-time vibes.
Even if their new album Silver Spoons & Broken Bones isn’t the sort of thing you’d buy, they deliver great entertainment value in a live setting - so if you fancy an evening of rock action accompanied by a few beers (or maybe more than a few), you could do far worse than catch Stone Gods on one of the following dates:
- 1 Nov - Cardiff, University
- 2 Nov - Bristol, Academy
- 5 Nov - Birmingham, Academy
- 6 Nov - Sheffield, Octagon
- 7 Nov - Liverpool, Academy
- 8 Nov - Manchester, Academy
- 10 Nov - Dublin, Vicar Street
- 11 Nov - Belfast, Limelight
- 13 Nov - Inverness, Ironworks

You can hear some of their material on the obligatory MySpace page, and there’s a proper Stone Gods website where you can read the band’s blog and more.
